Please try to do it a bit accurately, especially considering your audience when you refer to historical personalities. The armours and dressing are completely wrong. You are confusing Byzantine empire with classical Rome. As regards the Spatharokandidatos title which was a mid-level title, Maniakis was a General and a Governor (Catepan) of Italy. The title he is bestowed in the clip is actually a demotion. Harald on the other hand was Spatharokandidatos and by some sources leader of the Varangian Guard (of the Hetaeria - the term used to describe the foreign mercenary troops in service of the emperor).
