The Beauty and Majesty of Kailash Manasarovar Yatra
Kailash Manasarovar Yatra is one of the most important religious and spiritual journeys for Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains. It is a pilgrimage to Mount Kailash, the abode of Lord Shiva, and Lake Manasarovar, which is believed to be the source of four of Asia's greatest rivers: the Brahmaputra, the Sutlej, the Indus, and the Karnali (which is the largest tributary of River Ganga). This yatra is considered to be one of the most challenging pilgrimages in the world and requires a high level of physical fitness and mental preparation.
The Golden Kailash view of the North Face of Kailash is a mesmerizing experience
The Kailash Manasarovar Yatra begins in either Kathmandu or Lhasa, depending on the route chosen. The journey takes about 14-15 days to complete and includes a trek to the base of Mount Kailash, a circumambulation of the mountain, and a dip in the holy waters of Lake Manasarovar. The trek to the base of Mount Kailash is considered to be the most challenging part of the journey, as it requires walking at high altitudes and rough terrain. However, the views of the mountain and the surrounding landscapes are awe-inspiring, and the journey is believed to be a test of one's physical and mental strength
Kathmandu has many beautiful temples and historical places
The circumambulation of Mount Kailash is known as the Parikrama/Kora, and it is a crucial part of the yatra. The Parikrama is a 52-kilometer trek that takes about three days to complete, and it is believed to cleanse one's sins and bring good fortune. The Kora begins at Darchen, a small town at the base of Mount Kailash, and takes pilgrims through rocky terrain and steep inclines. The trek is physically demanding, but the views of Mount Kailash and the surrounding peaks make it an unforgettable experience.
Lhasa is the historical, political, and cultural center of Tibet
Lake Manasarovar is located at the foot of Mount Kailash, and it is one of the most sacred lakes in the world. The lake is believed to have healing powers and is said to wash away sins. The dip in the holy waters of Lake Manasarovar is an essential part of the yatra, and it is believed to be a life-changing experience. The serene surroundings of the lake and the reflection of the snow-capped mountains make the dip in the lake a spiritual experience.
Holy Lake Manasarovar has blessed healing waters
The Kailash Manasarovar Yatra is not just a physical journey, but it is also a spiritual one. The yatra requires pilgrims to leave their worldly possessions behind and embark on a journey of self-discovery. The journey tests one's physical and mental endurance, and it is believed to bring spiritual enlightenment. The yatra is a reminder that our journey in life is not just about achieving material success, but it is also about attaining spiritual fulfillment.
The North Face of Kailash has amazing features and powerful energy
Handling high altitude during Kailash Yatra is crucial to ensure a safe and successful journey. The high altitude can cause various health problems such as altitude sickness, dehydration, and fatigue. Handling high altitude during the Kailash Yatra requires preparation, patience, and a positive attitude. For a difficult pilgrimage like Kailash Manasarovar it is important to go with the group leader and tour company who have experience and can give you important tips and practices for handling high altitude.
